Reflecting on the past week of making and completing my diagram i am feeling very good about the piece that i have achieved and created. Alot of thought has gone into the concept and watching back the final product made me very emotional. It's a four miunte video and i think the hardest part that i found was editing it all together as i have not edited a video of that length before and adding things like voice over ontop of the videos and music also proved a challenge. Because i felt so passionately about the idea, the videos, the piece of music i really wanted to push for trying these things that i had not done before it made that extra little bit speical. The song that plays throughout the entire video took me ages to find but once i came across it i immediately felt it was incredibaly related to my practise and everything that i had been through in dance to get me to where i am today.

After working hard on my draft essay i came to really enjoy the process and found myself being indulged in reading and expanding what i had already written. i wrote the essay over the course of four afternoons, and i found that once i started writing i couldnt really stop. i did spend alot of time re-reading and writing a few parts to ensure it was to the best of my best ability. While knowing not to put so much pressure on myself for the first draft, i did really want to prove to myself that i could do it and it would be alright. Moving forward, after getting my feedback back, i am super happy and have some points to change and expand on which i will work towards in the coming weeks. i did feel like i really surpised myself and it has given me confidence that i can do this type of work and can now evolve towards really improving my work.
